OUR NEW RECRUITS
NEW SIGNING BEN BISSET.png
We are very excited to announce that former QAFL player, Ben Bisset, has signed on for 2026.

Ben played with Pyramid Hill FC in 2025, kicking 74 goals as a CHF. We look forward to Ben playing a big part in our push for a finals spot in our second season in Div2.

Welcome to Ben and his partner Maddy to the OPs family.
The Raiders are delighted to announce the signing of ruckman Connor McDonald.

Connor joins us from Tooleybuc-Manangatang in the central Murray league, where he captained the club and has managed to take home back to back league best and fairests. Originally from Noosa, Connor has played representative footy right the way through, collecting plenty of plaudits along the way with his innate ability to win centre clearances.

We can’t wait to have Connor join the club after he finishes another season up north in the NTFL with PINT.
We are delighted to announce that Matt Sleeman has joined us as a Senior Assistant Coach.

Matt comes to us with a wealth of experience and knowledge that our playing group are going to really benefit from. Matt has previously coached at the Eltham Turtles where he was senior coach for 6 years and prior to that was the Reserves coach at West Preston for 6 years.

We welcome Matt, his wife Gail and boys Carter, Harvey and Jesse to the Old Paradians family.
The Old Paradians Football Club is excited to announce the signing of Daniel Valeri.

Daniel comes to us with a wealth of experience and talent, as a long standing player and leader at West Preston, where he was also a member of their senior premiership team. His leadership qualities will be especially important for our young, emerging talent coming through.

Daniel is no stranger to the Garvey and Parade, where we held the position of school captain in 2013, and his recruitment will further strengthen our ties to the past and present students of the College.

We cant wait to see Daniel pull on the purple, green and blue, and welcome him, his wife Isabella and whole Valeri family.
NEW SIGNING JACOB IRELAND.png
Huge welcome to Jacob Ireland to the Garvey for the 2026 season.

Jacob recently had a year off after playing with Torquay for the previous three seasons. He is no stranger to the NFNL though having been a key member of the Greensborough footy club prior to that.

A past student at Parade College, he is a highly skilled, creative ball user who will add great value to the playing group.

A very warm welcome to Jacob and fiancee Tahlia, and the whole Ireland family.
NEW SIGNING Joshua Iacobaccio.png
We're thrilled to announce another big off-season signing, with Mitch Kane joining us for 2026.

Mitch heads to the Raiders from powerhouse Heidelberg where he has spent the last three years. He's a hard-nosed inside mid who gives us additional grunt through the guts, and importantly, adds Division 1 experience to our midfield group.

He played in the 2024 flag and is keen as mustard to show his wares in the purple, green and blue.

We welcome him and the entire Kane clan to the Garvey for what we hope will be an exciting ride in 2026
We are pumped to announce Liam McVeigh as our newest Raider in 2026.

Liam joins us after a very successful career as a key forward at West Preston. A premiership player, Liam loves to attack the footy and smash packs and we can't wait to see him strutting his stuff on Garvey (and elsewhere). His experience will also be a massive bonus for our young Senior forwards and young Colts coming through.

Liam also further strengthens our connection to the Parade and Old Paradians network having graduated from the College in 2015.

Join us in welcoming Liam, wife Nadine and little Miller.
Hot on the heels of Daniel Valeri's signing last week, we are absolutely rapt to announce the signing of his brother, Adam.

Adam is Garvey-bound following a decorated career with West Preston, where he is a two-time Senior premiership player, and will bring with him a significant amount of Senior Division 1 experience, including the vice-captaincy in recent seasons.

The College will also be familiar surrounds for Adam, being a former student and member of the College's football program.

A huge welcome from the whole OPs community to him, partner Aimee and whole Valeri family.
Kyle McDonald.png
Former Parade student, Kyle McDonald, is a team-first player, fierce at the contest and brings bucketloads of determination and experience.

After a year-long sabbatical, the former North Heidelberg captain returns to his old stomping ground to grace the hallowed surrounds of the Garvey in 2026.

With 10+ years experience leading from the front at senior level, Kyle sets an example for those around him. He has hit ground running at training, and we can't wait to see what he can contribute to the Club.

Please join us in welcoming Kyle and fiancée Hana to the Raiders.
NEW SIGNING JKANE.png
Huge welcome to Jesse Kane to the Garvey Oval for 2026. Jesse has spent the past 4 years at division 1 powerhouse, Heidelberg.

Jesse brings premiership experience, versatility, hard running and incredible endurance to the OPs and joins his brother Mitch in the Purple, Green and Blue for next year.

We are thrilled to have Jesse on board and can’t wait to see him flying down the wings on Plenty Road and beyond.
We are very excited to announce our newest recruit for season 2026 is Josh Iacobaccio.

Iacca has had quite the distinguished senior career having spent time at Coburg in the VFL, Pascoe Vale and more recently West Preston. He brings a wealth of experience, leadership and an overall drive for success.

Not only is Iacca a past 1st XVIII captain of the College’s Senior Football Team, he is a current teacher at the school and a Parade St Damian’s junior.

A huge welcome to Josh, his wife Lia and the whole Iacobaccio family.
